Are you interested in purchasing wheat from the United States?
U.S. Wheat Associates encourages wheat buyers to make their first point of contact with a local USW office. Our representatives, some with more than 30 years of relevant experience, are prepared to help buyers before, during and after the sale.
Find the nearest USW office here.
Exporters also have representatives throughout the world, so buyers might also inquire within the region's importing community to identify existing agents of U.S.-based exporting companies.
Online Resources:
- Agricultural Attaché and Counselors: The U.S. agricultural attaché and/or agricultural counselors are located in the American Embassy or in the Agricultural Trade Offices. Find contact information on the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service website.
- North American Export Grain Association (NAGEA): Many companies and cooperatives that supply U.S. wheat belong to the North American Export Grain Association (NAEGA). NAEGA provides a trade team form where prospective buyers can ask to be put into contact with suppliers. Find out more on the NAEGA website.
- USDA/FGIS: The USDA’s Federal Grain Inspection Service maintains a list of registered exporters on its website.
