The Wheat Quality Council’s 2026 Spring Wheat Tour Registration is Closing Soon

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Wheat Quality Council’s 2026 Spring Wheat Tour Registration is Closing Soon

Manhattan, Kansas - July 7, 2026 - The Wheat Quality Council (WQC) is still taking registrations to participate in the 2026 Hard Spring Wheat and Durum Tour, happening July 20 to 23.

The tour agenda includes field stops to evaluate the crop along the route, with experienced participants in each group to provide guidance and training.

“This tour offers an excellent opportunity to see this year’s crop firsthand, while learning in the field about yield estimation and identifying potential insect and disease issues that may affect production,” said Sean Finnie, Ph.D., Interim Executive Director of the Wheat Quality Council.

The tour will start and finish in Fargo, N.D., taking route across the state throughout that week. Hotel blocks of rooms are available for those traveling from out of town. The registration fee is $350 for Wheat Quality Council Members & University/Government Registrants and $445 for those that do not fall under the other criteria. Fees will cover all evening meals, plus handout materials. The deadline to register is July 15 in order to hold your place for meals and car assignments.

To register, please contact Sarah Henry by emailing shenry@kswheat.com or calling 785.539.0255.
