Tammy McClellan

Tammy most recently worked as the Executive Director of the Heartland Community Foundation serving Rooks, Ellis and Trego counties; and as a Director of Development at Fort Hays State University. In 2003, she opened and ran Simply Charmed, a women’s boutique in downtown Hays, which she sold in 2013. From 1988 to 1997 she worked as a Customer Relations Manager for Sprint/United Telephone of Kansas and United Telephone of the West in Scottsbluff, Neb. She earned a bachelor of science degree in 1986 and a master’s degree in 1993 from Kansas State University, both in Journalism and Mass Communications. Currently she serves on the board of directors of the Hays Area Chamber of Commerce. Tammy and her husband Mike have four daughters and farm in Rooks and Graham counties.
