Shayna DeGroot
Director of Membership and Government Affairs
Shayna DeGroot joined Kansas Wheat in January 2022. She is a December 2021 graduate of the Kansas State University college of agriculture with a Bachelor of Science in agricultural communications and a May 2024 graduate of Kansas State University with a Master of Agribusiness.
DeGroot grew up on a diversified row crop and custom feedlot operation in southwest Minnesota. Her family farms a diversified row crop operation, custom feeds feeder steers and manages their herd of Shorthorn cattle. She has shown Shorthorns from a very young age and enjoys spending time with her family showing cattle around the country.
