Sarah Henry has been with Kansas Wheat as the Director of Engagement and Events since February 2025.
Henry is a graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in Agriculture Education and Communications. Following graduation, she moved to Washington, DC to work for the National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) both as their Legislative Assistant and the Manager of Regulatory Affairs and Public Policy. During her time at NCGA Sarah advocated for farmers on transportation, risk management, energy, and rural development issues. Henry also worked on Capitol Hill in the office of Nebraska Congressman Adrian Smith and the House Appropriation's Subcommittee on Agriculture. In 2020, Henry left DC to move to her forever home outside of Randolph, KS and serve in the office of Congressman Tracey Mann as his District Agriculture Representative and most recently has District Director. Through her work in Congressman Mann's office, Sarah helped serve and advocate for Kansans in 60 counties across the state.
Sarah, her husband Dalton, and their young sons Samuel and Abram live near Randolph, KS where they have a cow/calf operation with their family.
