Rob Berard

Rob Berard became the Director of Finance and Human Resources in August 2021.  Rob is a graduate of Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.  Before joining Kansas Wheat Rob enjoyed a career working in multiple industries, all within or leading the accounting, finance, and human resource departments.  Rob’s longest tenure during his career was working with GTM Sportswear in Manhattan, KS where he helped grow the revenues of the business ten-fold in a 10-year span.  After leaving GTM Rob joined, Heartland Plant Innovations as the CFO, and worked with HPI on a full-time basis for 5 years.  He continues working with HPI currently in a consulting capacity.  Rob has a beautiful and highly skilled wife, Shawna, who is a banker, 5 sons and 1 daughter-in-law, all of which are doing well and are starting careers of their own.
