Amelia Schatz
Communications and Event Coordinator
Amelia Schatz joined Kansas Wheat's team in January 2023. Schatz is a December 2022 graduate of Kansas State University with her B.S. degree in Agricultural Communications and Journalism, with a minor in animal science.
She is originally from south central Minnesota, where her family has a registered Limousin and commercial sheep operation. Growing up, Schatz showed primarily Limousin and Shorthorn cattle at the county, state and national levels, as well as being heavily involved with 4-H and FFA.
Throughout her college career, Schatz participated on the wool and meat judging teams, had a variety of internships, along with being an active member of both the Block & Bridle and Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow clubs.
