2008 Research Projects
Funded by Kansas wheat producers through the Kansas Wheat Commission
Annually, the Kansas Wheat Commission invests in numerous research projects that improve the productivity and profitability of Kansas wheat producers. The research and technical assistance serves as a valuable tool for enhancing the competitiveness of Kansas wheat in domestic and global markets.
A
committee of wheat producer board members of the Kansas Wheat
Commission and the Kansas Association of Wheat Growers reviews each
proposal in depth. Recommendations for funding are then made to the KWC
board of directors.
