Ken Wood


Ken Wood of Dickinson County was named to the KAWG Board of Directors in February, 2012. He is owner/operator of Riverside Stock Farm, Inc., near Chapman, a cash grain farm on which he grows wheat, corn, soybeans and milo. “I have always been interested in the political process, and feel that advocacy for a cause is a noble and valuable thing to do as a member of an organization,” he says. Ken was in the Kansas Agricultural and Rural Leadership Class II and served on the KARL Board of Directors. He is a past president of the USD 473 Chapman Board of Education and currently serves on the Alida-Pearl Co-op Board of Directors. He is a 1980 graduate of Kansas State University. Ken is married to Deb Wood, an Extension Agent in Geary County. They have two grown children. Ken can be reached at
