Wheat harvest in Kansas typically begins in early- to mid-June and is complete by mid-July. It begins in the south central part of the state and moves north and west.

This year, we are a little behind schedule because of the cooler temperatures and lots of spring rains. In fact, May 2019 was the wettest month ever recorded in Kansas. Read more: https://ksu.ag/2MDr49M
