Senate Ag Committee Field Hearing

The Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry of the United States Senate will hold a field hearing on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 2:00 PM in McCain Auditorium at Kansas State University, 1501 Goldstein Circle in Manhattan, Kansas. The title of this hearing is, “Hearing from the Heartland: Perspectives on the 2018 Farm Bill from Kansas.”
Parking on campus is limited at best. Shuttles will be provided from Kansas Farm Bureau and the Kansas Department of Agriculture. Seat availability is first-come, first-served. There will be two bus schedules available. Each bus holds 48 people.
- Bus 1 will depart from KFB at 1:15 p.m., travel to KDA, pick up anyone there and take the group to McCain.
- Bus 2 will depart from KFB at 1:30 p.m., travel to KDA, pick up anyone there and take the group to McCain.
- At the conclusion of the hearing, two buses will be in front of McCain, pick up all attendees then take them back to the KDA building first, then KFB.
